A. General Survey of the Cooperative Project:

1. Description of the Project:
The thermal power plant of J.P.C (JinCheng paper Co.Ltd) has 555 staff, including 44 technical personnel, 32 managing staff and 479 workers. Its main equipment is as follows: Two sets of 12000 KWh/H generators, five sets of 65 MT/H pulverized-coal fired boilers.
Daily average generated energy: 360,000KWH.
Annual real generated capacity:174,500,000 KWH. Annual steam supply: 1,060,000 MT. In order to meet the needs of J.P.C(JinCheng paper Co.Ltd) for energy supply & heat supply; In order to meet the requirement of the international market£¬J.P.C has been quickening the step for the adjustment of product structure. Project of 100,000T/Y waste paper De-inking Bleaching Pulp to Produce High-grade Printing paper has been listed in the Guide Plan by China, which will start in 2004. In addition, project of 300,000T/y white card paper has also been endorsed by the national planning committee.
Above-mentioned project will need electricity 320MKWH/Y& steam 3,350,000 T/Y. The existing thermal power plant cannot meet the future requirement of J P C and JinCheng Paper (Group) Corporation's production. So, the power plant needs to be expanded.

4£®Marketing: The goal for expanding the thermal power station is to increase energy output, meet the need of manufacturing and constructing project. So, the electricity from the joint venture will be all sold to J.P.C.. Basically, it also solved the marketing outlet of the product.

7. Main Products and Scale:
Main products of J P C are rotary offset printing paper, writing paper and binder. The production capacities of them are 110,000T/Y, 10,000T/Y and 150,000T/Y respectively. Quality standard of the products meet the standard of the ministry .The rotary offset printing paper won the gold medal prize for its best quality in China.The rotary printing offset paper is mainly sold in domestic market.Its market cover share is over 86%, market share is over 13%. Part of the binder is exported to South Korea. The rest are sold in domestic market.

Seven vertical digesters, 11 paper machines and a mill thermal power station with installed generating capacity of 24,000KWH
